Tolkien described the totality and the imaginative world of his literary, fictional texts as »legendarium« and »mythology« (see more detailed). In reading this immense work, which is complex in terms of the history of its creation and of its conceptual interrelations, overviews prove to be very helpful. Further diagrams (e.g. timelines) are being planned.
